Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Honors

School-record 147 fall student-athletes recognized
COLUMBUS, Ohio — This fall, a school-record 147 Ohio State student-athletes have been named to the Academic All-Big Ten team, the Big Ten Conference announced Thursday. In all, 2,001 student-athletes from across the conference were recognized from the seven fall sports.

The previous Ohio State record was 140, set in 2021. The last two years, Ohio State had 124 fall honorees, tying for the second-most in school history at the time. The sports included are field hockey, football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer and women's volleyball.

To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, students must be on a varsity team (as verified by being on the official squad list as of Nov. 1 for fall sports), have been enrolled full time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.

Five Buckeyes were recognized for carrying perfect 4.0 grade-point averages – Erin Little from the field hockey team, Jack Agnew and Will McGraw from the men's cross country squad, Ava Bramblett from women's soccer and Kaitlyn Hoffman from the women's volleyball team.

The Ohio State football team had a program-record 56 honorees, while field hockey had 24 selections. Women's cross country and men's and women's soccer all had 15 on the list, men's cross country had 12 and women's volleyball had 10 honorees.
