COLUMBUS, Ohio – Six members of the Ohio State women’s soccer team earned All-Big Ten honors this season as announced by the conference office on Friday.
Senior Kailyn Dudukovich and sophomore Amanda Schlueter each earned first team honors, fellow sophomore Ava Bramblett was a second team honoree and senior captain Sydney Jones took home third team honors. Freshmen Ava Greco and Jadin Bonham were each named to the All-Big Ten Freshman Team.
For Dudukovich, this is her third All-Big Ten honor. She was a unanimous first team selection this season to go along with a second team honor in 2022 and a third team honor in 2023. This year, she is third in the country and second in the Big Ten with 16 goals. Her 33 points are also Top 10 nationally. She has seven game-winning goals which is tops in the country.
Schlueter followed a strong freshman campaign where she earned All-Freshman Team honors with an even better sophomore year. She has eight goals and leads the Big Ten with 10 assists on the season. That is also tied for fifth-most nationally and the second-most in a single-season in program history.
Bramblett was also on the All-Freshman Team last year. She moved to a defender position this season and has been tremendous. She has played and started every match and has recorded three goals and one assist on the year. Her most thrilling goal was the game-winner in the 90th minute in the 2-1 win over Northwestern on Sept. 22.
Jones caps her career with her third All-Big Ten award. She was an All-Freshman Team honoree in 2021 and a second team honoree last season. Jones is a two-time captain and the team’s steady rock on the pitch. She scored the game-winning goal, her first of the season, in the victory last Sunday vs. No. 15 Penn State in the regular season finale. Jones is also the program’s Sportsmanship Honoree this season.
Bonham has started all but one game this season. She had two assists in the second game of her career and has a total of six on the season. She also has a pair of goals, scoring her first collegiate goal in the win over Ashland. Greco also had her first career goal against Ashland and added an assist in the game as well. She too started all but one game this season and has been great in the midfield in her first season.
The Buckeyes finished tied for seventh in the Big Ten with a 6-3-2 record and will start the Big Ten Tournament on Friday afternoon against Wisconsin at 4:30 p.m. ET.
