Weekly highlight of the Buckeyes behind the major moments in Ohio State Athletics
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Week in and week out, Buckeyes raise the standard of excellence set at Ohio State, whether that be in competition, in the classroom or in the community. 'Buckeye Spotlight' recognizes Buckeyes who had noteworthy accomplishments both in contests and beyond the box score.

- Recorded three assists in 6-3 win at Michigan, added another in 2-0 win over Washington
- Helped Ohio State score most goals in series history against the Wolverines
- Kept the Buckeyes undefeated at 9-0-2, the best start in program history
- Has started all 11 matches to date
- Ohio State travels to face UCLA Friday in first Big Ten match vs. Bruins (10 p.m./B1G+)
- Buglioni tallied the game-winning goal in each of Ohio State's wins over No. 8 St. Lawrence last weekend.
- In game one against the Saints, she scored twice, including the overtime game-winner seven seconds into overtime.
- To help the Buckeyes sweep the series, she broke the 3-3 tie at 8:22 in the third period.
- Buglioni leads the team with seven points on the year and is tied for the team lead with four goals this season.
- Mosley was outstanding in the Loyola Lakefront Invitational last Friday.
- An All-American in the 800m on the track, she crossed the line first for the Buckeye women, placing 21st overall in a personal best 6K time of 20:13.40.
- Mosley and the Buckeyes wrap up the regular season Oct. 19 at Pre-Nationals in Madison, Wis., before starting postseason action with the Big Ten Championships.
- Ong was the lone Buckeye to win all three of her matches at the Barbara Nicklaus Cup this week.
- On Monday, Ong defeated her opponents from Florida and Charlotte, winning each match 4&2.
- On Tuesday, she picked up a win over her opponent from Clemson, defeating her 5&4.
- Styles led Ohio State in tackles in Saturday's 35-7 win over Iowa with seven total stops. He added 1.5 tackles for loss.
- The Buckeyes held Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson to 86 yards on 15 carries. It was 85 yards below his average entering the game.
- Through five games, Styles leads Ohio State is tackles (30) and has added 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery.
- Entering Saturday's game at No. 3 Oregon, the Buckeyes have top-five national rankings in scoring defense (first – 6.8 points allowed per game), total defense (first – 202.4 yards allowed per game), passing defense (fourth – 129.8 yards allowed per game) and rushing defense (72.6 yards allowed per game).
- Lori Walker-Hock led the Buckeyes to a 3-0 victory over Maryland on Friday night to claim her 300th win as Ohio State head coach.
- In her 28th season, Walker-Hock has this year's team off to one of its best starts in program history.
- The Buckeyes have just one loss this year, which matches the number of appendixes that Walker-Hock lost last week.
- The one loss is also the fewest losses ever through for the program for the first 13 matches.
- The Buckeyes are just two points back in the Big Ten standings, holding a 4-0-2 conference record.
