Buckeyes Finish Tied for Sixth at Blessings Collegiate

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's golf team moved three spots up the standings to finish tied for sixth place at the Blessings Collegiate Invitational on Wednesday.
The Buckeyes carded a 306 (+18) in the final round of play, finishing with a team score of 920 (+56).
Faith Choi led the way for the Buckeyes, finishing tied for 13th place with a 54-hole total of 225 (+9). She shot her lowest round of the tournament on Wednesday, carding a two-over 74.
Kary Hollenbaugh finished tied for 22nd place. She shot 78 (+6) in the final round and carded a 229 (+13) over three rounds.
Marina Joyce-Moreno shot 79 (+7) on Wednesday for a total score of 231 (+15). She tied for 28th place.
Nellie Ong carded her best round of the tournament on Wednesday, shooting 75 (+3). She moved 10 spots up the leaderboard, finishing tied for 32nd with a 54-hole score of 235 (+19).
Mandy Song tied for 52nd place. She carded an 83 (+11) in the final round and finished with a total score of 248 (+32).
The Buckeyes are back in action next week when they host the Barbara Nicklaus Cup at Muirfield Village Monday, Oct. 7-Tuesday, Oct. 8.
