COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17/16 Ohio State women's basketball team (11-3, 2-1 B1G) hosts Rutgers (6-11, 0-4 B1G) on Thursday for a 6 p.m. tip-off. The game will be broadcast on BTN and 1460AM.
Thursday is global engagement/international night as the Buckeyes celebrate international students as well as the international student-athletes on the women's basketball team. There will be a recognition during the game and a meet and greet with international student-athletes after the game. A jump rope team is set to perform during halftime.

- Ohio State holds an 11-3 this season and is 2-1 in conference play after a convincing 90-60 win at Northwestern last Friday.
- The Buckeyes totaled 23 assists as Eboni Walker matched her career-high six to lead the game. OSU also committed a season-low six turnovers and had 15 steals.
- The Buckeyes had six score in double figures as Walker scored a season-high 11 points in her first start of the season and Diana Collins totaled a career-high 10 points. Jacy Sheldon (18), Celeste Taylor (15), Cotie McMahon (10) and Taylor Thierry (10) also had at least 10 points apiece.
- Rutgers enters the matchup with a 6-11 record and is 0-4 in Big Ten play after losing 103-69 to then No. 4/3 Iowa on Friday. The Scarlet Knights have also faced then No. 16/15 Indiana, Northwestern and Purdue in conference play.
- The Scarlet Knights hold wins this season against Monmouth, Wagner, Saint Francis, Delaware State, Lafayette and La Salle.
- Kaylene Smikle (16.1 ppg) and Destiny Adams (12.6 ppg) lead the Rutgers offense, while Chyna Cornwell leads the Scarlet Knights on the boards with 8.3 rpg.
- Ohio State leads 15-7 in the all-time series against Rutgers, including the team's lone meeting last season - an 82-70 Buckeye win in Piscataway on Dec. 4, 2022. When the teams meet in Columbus, Ohio State has the 7-2 advantage.
- In last season's game, the Buckeyes started fast with a 20-6 first quarter and did not look back. OSU had 21 assists as a team, forced 21 Rutgers turnovers and recorded nine steals. Rebeka Mikulášiková (31 points) and Taylor Mikesell (30 points) spearheaded the Buckeyes' offense.
