COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State women's hockey head coach Nadine Muzerall became the winningest head coach in program history in the Buckeyes' 3-0 win over No. 7 Minnesota Duluth Friday night at the OSU Ice Rink. Ohio State (19-2-0, 16-1-0 WCHA) tallied a goal in each period to earn its third win over the Bulldogs (13-8-2, 10-7-0 WCHA) this season.

Ohio State (19-2-0, 16-1-0 WCHA) tallied a goal in each period to earn its third win over the Bulldogs (13-8-2, 10-7-0 WCHA) this season.

How it Happened
- Both teams went back-and-forth with chances in the first period, but the scoreless tie wasn't broken until the last 10 seconds of the period. Graduate forward Kelsey King knocked a loose puck in the goalie crease past Hailey MacLeod at 19:51 to put the Buckeyes up 1-0 at the first intermission. Sloane Matthews and Kiara Zanon picked up assists on the goal.
- Ohio State's second goal came late in the second period, this time with Joy Dunne lighting the lamp at 17:01. She was assisted by Makenna Webster and Sloane Matthews.
- Ohio State's third and final goal was scored by Kenzie Hauswirth with under 5:00 to play in the game. She found the back of the net at 15:22 and was assisted by King and Matthews.
- Goaltender Raygan Kirk made 14 saves on the day to earn the Buckeyes' second straight shut out of Minnesota Duluth.
- Ohio State outshot the Bulldogs, 38-14, on the night. Â
- Nadine Muzerall's record as the head coach of the Buckeyes is now 179-71-19 in eight seasons. The previous record for head coach wins at Ohio State was 178 by Jackie Barto, who coached Ohio State for its first 12 seasons.
- Sloane Matthews and Kelsey King led the team with two points on the day. The Buckeyes' third line of Matthews, King and Kenzie Hauswirth combined for five of the team's nine points and recorded two of the three goals.
- Joy Dunne has scored four goals in the last three games with a goal in tonight's game against Minnesota Duluth.
- In her third straight start in net for the Buckeyes, Kirk earned her fifth shutout of the season. She is the seventh goaltender nationally to earn five shutouts this year,
