COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 17/16 Ohio State women's basketball team (12-3, 3-1 B1G) hosts RV/RV Michigan State (12-3, 2-2 B1G) on Sunday at 4 p.m. The game will be broadcast on BTN and 1460AM.
Sunday is the Buckeyes' cause game as Ability Matters, LandOn A Cure, Special Olympics and Autism Awareness will all be honored at the game, including a Special Olympics game at halftime. There is also a FREE post-game clinic, open to all girls in grades 3-8 and boys in grades 3-6. Register by filling out the waiver at this LINK. Participation is limited to the first 100 participants.

- Ohio State holds a 12-3 record this season and is 3-1 in conference play after a 90-55 win against Rutgers on Thursday.
- All 10 Buckeyes that played more than three minutes had a basket and six players had at least four rebounds. Seven different OSU players made a triple for the first time since Dec. 10, 2020 against Miami (OH).
- Madison Greene led the Buckeyes with a season-high 16 points, while Celeste Taylor (12), Jacy Sheldon (11) and Cotie McMahon (11) also scored in double figures.
- RV/RV Michigan State also holds a 12-3 record on the season and is 2-2 in conference play. The Spartans have beaten Maryland and Penn State and lost to Nebraska and then No. 4/3 Iowa (on the road at the buzzer).
- MSU has wins over Oakland, Wright State, Detroit Mercy, Evansville, James Madison, DePaul, Miami (OH), Central Michigan, Richmond and Coastal Carolina. The only non-conference loss was to Creighton.
- Moira Joiner (16.2 ppg), Julia Ayrault (14.9 ppg/7.5 rpg) and DeeDee Hagemann (13.9 ppg/62 ast) lead the Spartans this season. Michigan State averages the second-most points/game in the B1G (89.9).
- Ohio State leads 57-29 in the all-time series with Michigan State and is 24-11 when facing the Spartans in Columbus. The two teams met only once last season after meeting three times during the 2021-22 season.
- In the most recent meeting, Ohio State earned a 74-68 win on Dec. 11, 2022. The Buckeyes used a short bench with only seven players seeing the court. Taylor Thierry led all players with 21 points on 10-of-13 (.769) shooting and added nine rebounds. Taylor Mikesell (16) and Madison Greene (15) also scored in double figures, while Cotie McMahon led all players with 10 rebounds.
