Women’s soccer defeated Maryland Sunday, 1-0, to improve to 5-3-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the Big Ten. The team’s victory was the 300th of head coach Lori Walker-Hock’s career. Congratulations, Lori!

The field hockey team improved to 9-2 on the season after its 3-2 victory over Ohio on Sunday.
Women’s volleyball capped their opening weekend of Big Ten play with a sweep at Iowa to improve to 1-1 in the Big Ten and 4-7 overall.

The women’s cross country team placed 15th in a strong, 23-team field at the Virginia Invitational and on the course that will host the 2023 NCAA championships.

There was exciting competition by a number of women’s tennis players at the Fall Ranked Spotlight in North Carolina. Irina Cantos Siemers and Luciana Perry both reached the finals of their singles draws and Cantos Siemers and Sydni Ratliff reached the A-B doubles final.

Men’s tennis players Robert Cash and recent graduate James Trotter won the doubles title at the ATP Columbus Challenger at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. Cannon Kingsley advanced to the semifinals in singles.
