COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State was the better side for the majority of the match but didn't have anything to show for it until senior Christin Baumbick scored with a minute to go, giving the Buckeyes a 1-0 victory over Maryland.

The win is the fifth of the season for the Buckeyes (5-3-2, 1-1-1) and it was the 300^th of the career for Ohio State head coach Lori Walker-Hock.

The Buckeyes out-shot Maryland 25-10 as the 25 shots were one-off a season-high. Goalkeeper Molly Pritchard had to make just two saves while the Buckeyes attacked UM keeper Liz Beardsley, forcing her to make nine stops.

How it Happened
The Buckeyes pushed the pace and had a number of scoring chances but just couldn't find the net. Forward Kailyn Dudukovich had six shots in the game and tied her season-high with four shots on goal. But it wasn't until the final minute in which the Buckeyes got on the board.

Following a throw-in deep in Maryland's end, Dudukovich put a shot on goal that was saved. The rebound was bounced around and eventually collected by Kine Flotre who then found Christin Baumbick at the top of the box. The senior from Avon Lake boomed a right-footed shot that found its way into the back of the net just as the clock drew under a minute to play.

The goal was the second of the season for Baumbick and the fourth of her career. It was also her first game-winning goal.
