COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State (2-4-2, 0-2-0) dropped a 4-2 decision at No 13 Northwestern (7-0-2, 1-0-1) Sunday at Martin Stadium in Evanston, Illinois.

How it Happened
Michael Adedokun put Ohio State on top in the 23' after an outlet from keeper Max Trejo (assist) to make it 1-0. Adedokun gathered top left of the box and found the upper right corner of the Northwestern net for the score. It was the second goal of his Ohio State career and sixth overall. He transferred to Ohio State from Dayton with four goals to his credit.

Northwestern wasted little time getting the equalizer when in the 26' Jason Gajadhar managed to get one by Trejo to tie it at 1-all.

Less than 10 minutes later, the Wildcats went on top 2-1 in the 34' on a goal by Bryant Mayer.

The Wildcats added another goal early in the second half in the 48' on a goal by Brandon Clagette.

Ohio State closed the gap to one when Laurence Wootton scored on a penalty kick in the 68^th minute following a foul against Ohio State's Siggy Magnusson by Northwestern's Danh Tran.

The goal was the 14^th of Wootton's career and second this season. Five of his goals have been on penalty kicks (5-of-7 all-time).

Northwestern got the lead back up to two goals on a score in the 73' to make it 4-2 Wildcats.
