Wrapping up a busy week with Buckeye athletics...
The Field Hockey team went 1-1 last week, including a 6-0 victory over Stanford on Sunday to improve its record to 6-1 on the season.
Women’s Soccer secured a 2-0 victory over visiting Auburn on Sunday. The team has won three consecutive matches and is now 4-2-1 heading into Big Ten play.
Laurence Wootton scored late to give Men’s Soccer (1-2-2) a 1-0 win over Butler Saturday in Indianapolis.
Addie Engel won her second consecutive cross country race, and the sixth of her career, Friday at the Badger Classic in Madison, Wisc. The women finished fifth of seven teams and the men were third out of six with three runners in the Top 10 led by Kevin Agnew in sixth-place.
Volleyball is 3-4 overall after competing in the strong Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge last week against No. 5 Stanford and No. 6 Oregon.
Men’s Golf shot a program-record score of 37-under (815) to finish fourth among 15 teams at the Maui Jim Intercollegiate this weekend at Mirabel Country Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
The Football team defeated Youngstown State, 35-7, in front of 102,897 fans Saturday at Ohio Stadium.
