
Buckeyes Earn Academic All-Big Ten Accolades

Ohio State leads B1G with 262 honorees for spring and at-large sports
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference announced the Academic All-Big Ten selections for spring and at-large sports Monday, with 2,224 student-athletes from across the conference recognized. Ohio State led the way with 262 Buckeyes included.
Ohio State had 506 student-athletes named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team for the 2022-23 school year. The 262 honorees from spring and at-large sports join 124 from fall sports and 120 winter sport student-athletes.
For Ohio State, spring and at-large sports include baseball, fencing, men's and women's golf, women's ice hockey, men's and women's lacrosse, pistol, rifle, women's rowing, synchronized swimming, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's outdoor track and field and men's volleyball. Ohio State led all Big Ten schools in spring and at-large honorees and was one of just four schools to record more than 200 selections.
To be eligible for Academic All-Big Ten selection, student-athletes must be on a varsity team, as verified by being on the official squad list, who have been enrolled full-time at the institution for a minimum of 12 months and carry a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
Eight Buckeye spring/at-large standouts were recognized for carrying a 4.0 cumulative grade-point average:
