
Buckeyes Third at Big Ten Championships

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Ohio State women’s golf team finished third at the 2023 Big Ten Conference championships, held the past three days at the Fox Chapel Golf Club in Pittsburgh, Pa. This is the second consecutive year for the tournament to be held at Fox Chapel and Ohio State’s second consecutive third-place finish.
The Buckeyes carded a 294 (+10) in the final round of play on Sunday and finished with a 54-hole score of 871 (+19).
Lauren Peter was the top individual finisher for Ohio State. Peter shot 74 (+3) in the final round and finished the three-round championship with a score of 217 (+4) to tie for sixth place.
Kary Hollenbaugh placed 11th with a three-round score of 219 (+6). She carded a 74 (+3) in round three.
Caley McGinty moved up six spots in the standings to finish tied for 13th after shooting a 73 (+2) in the final round. She shot 221 (+8) over 54 holes.
Kailie Vongsaga carded a 78 (+7) in round three for a three-day score of 224 (+11). She tied for 24th place.
Jillian Bourdage moved 22 spots up the leaderboard to finish tied for 34th place. She shot her best round of the tournament on Sunday with a 73 (+2). She finished with a total score of 228 (+15).
Aneka Seumanutafa carded an 82 (+11) in round three to finish with a score of 231 (+18). She tied for 50th place.
The NCAA Selection Show will be on Wednesday, April 26. The NCAA Regionals run May 8-10.
