
Ohio State Leads Field Through 36 Holes of Big Ten Championship

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Ohio State women’s golf team has moved into first place after completing 36 holes at the Big Ten Championships. The Buckeyes shot a one-over 285 in the second round of play on Saturday and have a two-round score of 577 (+9).
Lauren Peter moved up 13 spots in the standings after firing a 69 (-2) in today’s round. She is tied for sixth place with a 36-hole score of 143 (+1).
Kary Hollenbaugh is tied for eighth place; she carded a 73 (+2) in the second round and has a total score of 145 (+3).
Kailie Vongsaga shot 76 (+5) in round two and has a two-round score of 146 (+4). She is tied for 10th place.
Caley McGinty carded a 72 (+1) today and moved up 14 spots in the standings to finish the day tied for 19th place. She has a total score of 148 (+6).
Aneka Seumanutafa rocketed up the leaderboard, moving up 36 spots to finish the day tied for 21st place. She shaved seven strokes off her first-round score to shoot even (71) in round two. Seumanutafa has a score of 149 (+7) through 36 holes.
Jillian Bourdage carded a 77 (+6) in the second round of play and is tied for 56th with a two-round score of 155 (+13).
The Buckeyes, who have a one stroke lead on second-place Illinois, play the third and final round of the Big Ten Championship tomorrow. Ohio State’s tee times will begin at 9:54 a.m., with the final Buckeye teeing off at 10:41 a.m.
