
Buckeyes in Second Following Round One of B1G Championship

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Ohio State women’s golf team is in second place after the first round of the Big Ten Championship at Fox Chapel Golf Club on Friday. The Buckeyes shot a team score of 292 (+8) and trail first-place Illinois by just six strokes.
Kailie Vongsaga led the way for the Buckeyes, firing a 70 (-1) through the first 18 holes of play. She is tied for fourth place.
Kary Hollenbaugh shot a one-over 72 in the first round and is tied for 10th place.
Lauren Peter sits tied for 19th. Peter carded a 74 (+3) in round one.
Caley McGinty shot 76 (+5) in the first round and is tied for 33rd place.
Jillian Bourdage and Aneka Seumanutafa are tied for 57th after both shot a 78 (+7) on the first day of play.
The Big Ten Championship continues April 22-23.
