Moldovan Named B1G Golfer of the Week For 2nd Time

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State junior Maxwell Moldovan was spectacular over the final 36 holes of the Puerto Rico Classic this week and has been named the Big Ten Men’s Golfer of the Week for the second time this season.
Moldovan finished runner-up following rounds of 72-68-66 to finish at 10-under. The bogey-free final round 66 was tied for the lowest round of his career, it was the lowest round of the day by anyone in the field and it was 5.7 shots lower than the scoring average for the day. His 134 over the final 36 holes was also the lowest in the field.
This was his second runner-up finish this season and the ninth Top 5 finish of his career. He now has seven rounds in the 60s this season and 29 for his career, which is the most in program history.
