COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 13/13 Ohio State women's basketball team (9-2, 1-0 B1G) hosts Belmont (7-3) for a Friday matinee, scheduled for 1 p.m. ET. The game will be broadcast on B1G+ and 1460AM.
The first 500 fans in attendance on Friday will receive Ohio State mittens. Santa Brutus will also be on the concourse prior to the start of the game.

- Ohio State holds a 9-2 record this season after dropping a 77-71 decision against No. 2/2 UCLA on Monday night. The Buckeyes trailed by as many as 22 points early in the fourth quarter before closing the gap to as little as four points.
- Against UCLA, Jacy Sheldon notched her second 30-point performance of the season and Taylor Thierry scored a season-high 20 points to lead the Buckeye offense. They combined for seven rebounds, five steals and four assists, also shooting 50 percent from long range.
- Sheldon moved up to 13th in program history in scoring (1,651 career points) and Mikulasikova moved up to 33rd (1,041 career points).
- Belmont visits Columbus with a 7-3 record this season, most recently beating Kennesaw State by a 65-54 margin on the road on Sunday.
- The Bruins also hold wins over -/RV Georgia, Wichita State, Northwestern, Troy, -/RV Middle Tennessee and Lipscomb. Belmont's losses this season are to Missouri, RV/RV Mississippi State and then No. 4/3 Stanford. Belmont is riding a five-game win streak.
- All five of Belmont's starters are averaging double figures, led by Tessa Miller's 14.2 ppg, as the offense averages 69.0 ppg as a whole. Three of the Bruins' starters average more than 6.0 rebounds per game with Kendal Cheesman's 7.0 rpg leading the way. Kilyn McGuff is averaging 11.3 ppg and 6.8 rpg.
- Ohio State and Belmont have played only once previously with the Buckeyes earning an 84-56 win at home on Nov. 19, 2015. This was in Head Coach Kevin McGuff's third season at Ohio State.
