
Moseley Signs Four in Class of 2024

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State men's golf head coach Jay Moseley announces the signing of four players in the class of 2024. He and the Buckeyes received national letters of intent from two of the top players in Ohio as well as two talented international players.
Jack Vojtko (Stow, Ohio) and Vaughn Harber (Blacklick, Ohio) are two of the state's best players and Timotej Formanek (Prague, Czech Republic) and Jaime Yzaga (Lima, Perú) are two players who had success on the international level.
"This class represents a group of young men who are prepared to create a great legacy in Buckeye Golf," Moseley said. "They are strong students with outstanding leadership qualities, and they are winners. Each of them will independently contribute in a big way to our program immediately and collectively they will play a big role in the future of Buckeye Golf. Tim, Vaughn, Jack and Jaime have all competed against some of the best players in the world as juniors with great results and we believe each of them will have continued success at the collegiate level. Coach Beck and our entire support staff are thrilled to welcome them to campus next year and we are excited for their futures as Buckeyes!"
Vojtko is ranked 28th in the 2024 class and was a participant at both the US Amateur and US Junior Amateur this past summer. He is planning to graduate high school this December and will join the program with the second semester. Harber fired a final round 66 on the Scarlet course to win the 2023 DI state title and set the OHSAA 36-hole scoring record at 135. Yzaga has represented Team Peru in a number of international competitions has risen to as high as 215 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings as a junior player. Formanek has also represented his home country on the international level and finished runner-up at the 2023 Austrian PGA Championship.

- Named the Ohio District Player of the Year in 2022 and 2023
- 2022 Encova Central Ohio Player of the Year
- Had a 71.9 overall high school scoring average.
- Won GolfWeek Elite event at Gibson Bay which was part of eight Golfweek tournament titles.
- Inducted into GolfWeek Junior Tour Hall of Fame
- Member of National Honors Society Honor Roll for every semester at DeSales
Timotej Formanek

- Finished runner-up at the 2023 Austrian PGA Championship
- Was third overall in the 2023 Czech Open Golf Tour, collecting a win at the Kaskada Tournament
- Finished tied for second in the 2022 Hungarian Junior Championship
- Overall winner of Czech Amateur Tour in 2021
- Named the 2021 Cadet of the Year by the Czech Golf Federation
- Won the Czech High School Championship
- Member of the Czech Team at the European Boys Championship, finishing 4th in 2021 and 6th in 2022
