- Men’s soccer defeated Michigan State, 1-0, Friday in East Lansing in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament to improve to 6-6-5 overall and advance on to the semifinals, where it will play at Penn State on Wednesday.
- The field hockey team defeated Penn State, 4-3, in the second OT to advance to the semifinals of the Big Ten tournament, where its terrific season (14-6 overall) came to an end with a 3-1 loss to top-seed Northwestern.


- The wrestling team opened its 2023-24 season by advancing seven to the finals at the Clarion Open with four wrestlers – senior All-American Dylan D’Emilio (149), RS soph. Paddy Gallagher (157), true frosh Rocco Welsh (174) and RS frosh Nick Feldman (HWT) – all winning titles.

- Women’s volleyball had an exciting four-set win over Indiana Saturday in Covelli to improve to 9-14 overall and 6-8 in the Big Ten.




- The No. 2 women’s hockey team swept Bemidji State in Bemidji, Minn., 9-1 and 5-0, this weekend to improve to 9-1-0 and 8-0-0 in the WCHA.

- The No. 5 women’s swimming and diving team improved to 2-0 on the season after defeating Akron Friday night at the McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion.




- The men and women’s fencing squads spent the weekend competing at the Western Invitational in Colorado Springs. The men went 7-1 to improve their season mark to 12-1 while the women won six of seven matches to improve to 11-1 this year.

- The football team defeated Rutgers on the road, 35-26, to improve to 9-0 overall and 6-0 in the Big Ten.





- Men’s tennis capped a fine fall season Saturday with freshman Bryce Nakashima and RS frosh Preston Stearns winning the Big Ten doubles title in Madison, Wisc. Meanwhile, at the ITA National Fall Championships in San Diego, senior JJ Tracy and soph. Jak Anthrop made runs to the semifinals, soph. Alexander Bernard reached the quarterfinals and Tracy and Robert Cash advanced to the quarterfinals in doubles.

- Grad. Irina Cantos Siemers and frosh Luciana Perry of the women’s tennis team competed at the ITA National Fal Championships in San Diego last week. After a first-round doubles victory, they were defeated in the round of 16.

Men’s golf completed its fall season with a sixth-place finish out of 13 teams at the Cal Poly Invitational in Carmel, Calif.
