COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 7 Ohio State is one of 36 teams competing for the 2023 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational Friday and Saturday. Ohio State finished in the No. 8 spot in the 2022 event. Schools are permitted to enter one wrestler in each weight class, simulating postseason competition.
Of the 36 teams scheduled to participate in the 41st annual event, 14 are ranked among the Top 25. The Buckeyes enter the event as the No. 6 team nationally (InterMat). The other ranked teams: Cornell (2), Nebraska (5), NC State (6), Iowa State (8), Virginia Tech (9), Michigan (10), Oklahoma State (11), South Dakota State (14), Arizona State (16), Navy (17), Oregon State (21), Maryland (22) and Stanford (23)
Ohio State has six team titles since 2009 at the CKLVI including three-consecutive (2016, 17, 18). The Buckeyes have placed outside the Top 5 just twice in the past decade and own 10 Top 3 finishes.

VEGAS WINNINGS
• Ohio State has won the team title six times since 2009 (2009, 11, 12, 16, 17, 18). The Buckeyes earned second-place finishes in 2014, 2019 and 2021, third in 2013, fifth in 2015 and 12th in 2010. There was no event in 2020 (Covid).
• Ohio State has finished in the Top-5 in 11 of the last 13 seasons.
