COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (10-17, 7-11 B1G) wraps up the regular season at home this weekend. The Buckeyes host No. 14 Penn State (19-8, 13-5 B1G) on Friday and Rutgers (10-18, 2-16 B1G) on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled for 7 p.m. and will be broadcast on B1G+.

- Ohio State holds a 10-17 record this season and a 7-11 record in Big Ten play after a loss in straight sets (14-25, 9-25, 17-25) at RV Minnesota on Saturday night. Emily Londot led the Buckeyes in kills and digs, moving up in the program record book in both career points (now fifth) and digs (into the top-20).
- Londot continues to lead Ohio State's offense and the Big Ten in kills/set (4.90) and ranks second in the conference in points/set (5.34). She's among the top-six in the country in both categories as of 11/16.
- Lauren Murphy leads OSU with 36 aces, ranking third in the B1G (0.43 aces/set) after a career-high seven aces against Minnesota on Nov. 3.
- Tuman ranks fifth in the Big Ten in assists/set (9.44) and broke into the top-20 in program history on 10/21, now ranking 17th with 887 assists.
- No. 14 Penn State holds a 19-8 overall record and a 13-5 Big Ten record after sweeping Northwestern (25-15, 25-23, 25-22) on senior night. The Nittany Lions are scheduled to play at Maryland on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m.
- Since last playing Ohio State on Oct. 7, the Nittany Lions have gone 7-5 and hold wins over Iowa (two), Michigan, then No. 2 Wisconsin, Michigan State and Northwestern and are on a four-match win streak. In that time, PSU lost to then No. 2 Nebraska (twice), No. 19 Purdue (twice) and Michigan State.
- Jess Mruzik leads the offense and ranks third in the Big Ten in kills/set (4.49) and points/set (5.06), while Mac Podraza ranks second in the B1G with 10.41 assists/set. Gillian Grimes leads the back row defense with 3.60 digs/set (eighth in the B1G) and Allie Holland (1.35) and Taylor Trammell (1.18) rank in the top-10 in the conference in blocks/set.
- Ohio State trails 21-52 in the all-time series against Penn State and 13-21 when facing the Nittany Lions in Columbus.
- The Buckeyes fell in five sets (23-25, 25-23, 25-20, 21-25, 7-15) earlier this season in State College.
- Rutgers is 10-18 overall and 2-16 in Big Ten play this season and is scheduled to play at Maryland on Friday at 6 p.m.
- Since last playing Ohio State on Oct. 6, the Scarlet Knights are 2-11, earning wins against then No. 16 Minnesota and Iowa and losing to then No. 1 Wisconsin, Illinois (twice), Minnesota, No. 1 Nebraska (twice), Indiana (twice), Michigan, Northwestern and Michigan State.Â
- Rutgers has a trio of hitters averaging more than 2.0 kills/set, led by Alissa Kinkela's 2.96/set. Alyssa Nayar ranks 10th in the Big Ten in assists/set (8.76) and Madyson Chitty is 10th in digs/set (3.58).
- Ohio State leads 18-1 in the all-time series against Rutgers, including a 7-0 record when facing the Scarlet Knights in Columbus.
- On Oct. 6 in Piscataway, Ohio State earned a four-set win (25-21, 26-24, 18-25, 25-14). The Buckeyes ran a well-balanced offense with four players totaling 10+ kills and three totaling 10+ digs. Last season, the Buckeyes earned a home sweep (25-13, 25-15, 25-14) on Oct. 15 in the team's lone meeting of the season.
- Ohio State holds a 15-match win streak as Rutgers' lone victory came at a neutral site on Sept. 12, 1981.
