
Yost Collects Big Ten Diver of the Week Honors

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lyle Yost has been named the Big Ten Men's Diver of the Week, announced by the conference on Wednesday.
Yost was instrumental in the Buckeyes' second-place finish at the Ohio State Fall Invitational last weekend, diving his way to wins on the 1-meter, 3-meter and platform.
The reigning national champ on the 1-meter springboard scored a 388.25 at the invite to place first.
Yost turned in a score of 428.10 on the 3-meter, his best score of the season so far.
On platform, Yost recorded an overall score of 378.05.
All three of Yost's scores from the weekend are NCAA Zones qualifying scores.
This is Yost's second weekly award of the season so far; he also earned Diver of the Week honors on Nov. 1 after a stellar performance in the Buckeyes' dual meet versus Virginia Tech.
