Jordan Honored with Phyllis Bailey Award

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Janelle Jordan, who lettered as an Ohio State rower in 1998, was presented with the prestigious Phyllis Bailey Award Saturday during ceremonies at the Ohio State Boathouse.
The award pays tribute and recognition to those female Ohio State letterwinners who, through their careers, have contributed to the honor and fame of The Ohio State University. Those award winners have capitalized on the values learned in intercollegiate athletics and have achieved singular success in their career.
Jordan, currently a professor at the University of Minnesota, is a member of Varsity "O" at Ohio State.
She has achieved great success in her career and attributes this to the values she learned by being an OSU athlete.
Jordan spent 17 years working in senior management at General Mills. She then founded a successful consulting firm, Jordan Solutions, LLC.
An OSU Scholar Athlete, Jordan graduated with a triple major in logistics, marketing and international business.
As an alumnus, Jordan has served as President of the Ohio State Alumni Club of Minnesota and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Ohio State University Alumni Association.
