Three consecutive wins for the field hockey team, including a signature program win over No. 1-ranked and undefeated Iowa, 2-1, on Friday and a 3-0 win over Indiana yesterday, has the team at 11-2 overall with a 4-1 ledger in the Big Ten Conference.

The men’s soccer team (3-4-2 and 1-2-0 in the Big Ten) picked up a Big Ten road win over Rutgers, 2-0, on Friday.

The women’s soccer team, also with three consecutive victories, defeated Indiana and Illinois by identical 2-1 scores last week to improve to 7-3-2 overall and 3-1-1 in the Big Ten.

Women’s volleyball battled No. 1 Wisconsin and Maryland to packed Covelli Center crowds last week, including defeating the Terrapins, 3-0, on Sunday. The team is 2-2 in the Big Ten and 5-8 overall.

The cross country teams raced in the Sean Earl Loyola Lakefront Invitational Friday in Chicago with the women’s team placing sixth led by runner-up Addie Engel.

Women’s hockey opened its season by splitting a pair of games at No. 4 Colgate over the weekend: dropping G1, 3-2, and winning G2 in OT, 3-2.
The fencing program began its season with the OSU Open Saturday and Sunday in French Field House. Five Buckeyes won individual event titles Saturday and the men’s and women’s teams each went 5-0 in the OSU Duals Sunday, defeating Oberlin, Case Western, Purdue, Michigan and Michigan State.
The women's tennis team competed in the Wolverine Invitational with the players posting combined records of 11-3 in singles and 5-2 in doubles over the three days.
In Ann Arbor this weekend, the Buckeyes were a combined 11-3 in singles and 5-2 in doubles.
