Fencing Hiring Student Managers

The Ohio State fencing program is hiring for student managers to fulfill a number of duties within the program. These paid positions, available for full-time students only, offer experience in athletics development, event management and communications and feature flexible hours. Fundraising Student Assistant -Â Assist in creation of fundraising campaign materials, including online and direct mail. Assist staff in maintaining a comprehensive database to track coach interactions with donors. Assist with alumni and donor engagement and stewardship.
Fundraising Event Student Assistant -Â Assist in planning and managing fencing program's fundraising events. Includes assisting with the coordination of event logistics, event communication, tracking donor attendance and assessing event effectiveness.
Athletic Event Student Assistant - Assists Director of Operations with practice and competition logistics, including practice set-up and clean up, filming for coaching analysis and other competition logistics (i.e., referees, meals, hotel reservations, travel, etc.) Â
Social Media/Video Student Assistant - Assists Director of Operations with creating engaging and relevant social media content around fencing program. Assists in capturing social media content at practice and competitions. Assists in creation of relevant content for alumni engagement.   Â
Community Outreach Student Assistant - Assist with identifying community service opportunities for fencing program and student-athletes. Assist with community service logistics and tracking community service engagement.
