Buckeyes Earn 2-All Tie On Two Late Goals

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State (3-4-5, 1-2-1) rallied on the road at Louisville (7-3-2, 1-3-1) Tuesday to earn a 2-all draw at Lynn Stadium. The Buckeyes were down 2-0 before late goals by Andre Roberts and Laurence Wootton tied the match with both goals coming with under 10 minutes to play.

How it Happened
After 304 scoreless minutes, Louisville scored the first goal on the Buckeyes in the last four matches when Brandon McManus scored on a breakaway goal for the Cardinals in the 18^th minute to take a 1-0 lead.

The first half was played aggressively by both teams on defense. The Cardinals had the slight edge in shots (5-4) and attempts on net (2-1). The Buckeyes had the advantage in corners at 3-2.

Louisville upped the pressure in the second half and went up 2-0 on a penalty kick goal by McManus in the 70^th minute. Ohio State's Brayden Durbin was called for the foul in the box that led to the PK.

Freshman Andre Roberts cut into the Louisville lead with his first collegiate goal in the 83^rd minute. His shot came from the right side off a rebound that found its way across the Cardinal goal line.

Senior All-American Laurence Wootton then headed in the equalizer in the 86^th minute from a feed from sophomore Marko Borkovic.

Wootton has four goals on the year and 16 in his career. Borkovic has three assists this season and four in his career.

Ohio State is 9-7-5 all-time against the Cardinals with a 3-7-3 record in Louisville.
Buckeye keepers combined to hold opponents scoreless over 304 minutes before Louisville scored in the 18' Tuesday.
