Buckeye in Dubai for World Championships

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Three freshmen on the Ohio State fencing team are in Dubai for the Cadet and Junior World Championships.

Gabriel Feinberg will compete in junior men’s epee for the United States and Karina Dyner will represent Costa Rica in junior women’s epee. The men’s event is slated to start at 8:30 a.m. Dubai time (12:30 a.m. ET), with the women’s starting at 10:20 a.m. Dubai time (2:20 a.m. ET).
Yeva Mazur will compete for Ukraine in the team epee event Sunday.
Feinberg won the NCAA fencing men’s epee championship and earned First Team All-America honors, while Mazur placed 11th at the NCAA championships to earn Honorable Mention All-America accolades.
