COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State shot 291 over the final 18 holes as a team Tuesday to finish in the No. 7 (+16/880) spot at the 2022 Ironwood Invitational in Greenville, North Carolina. Aneka Seumanutafa was the top individual performer with three rounds of 73 to finish tied for 15th at 3-over 219.
Ohio State shot rounds of 297-292 (589) Monday, good for the No. 6 position of the 13-team event heading into the final round.
The Buckeyes were in the No. 8 spot (+9) after the first 18 with both Jillian Bourdage and Seumanutafa shooting 1-over 73s to tie for No. 16 individually.
Seumanutafa equaled her first-round score with a 73 in the second round to end the day at 2-over 146 and tied for 14th.
Choi fired a par 72 in the second round to jump 24 spots on the individual leaderboard to enter the final round tied for the No. 22 spot. She finished tied for 23rd after a final round 73.
Alexis Phadungmartvorakul turned in a round of even par Tuesday to jump 14 spots on the leaderboard to end the event in the No. 26 spot at +6/222.
Ohio State returns to action on its home course April 15-16 at the Lady Buckeye Invitational on the OSU Golf Club Scarlet Course.
