Big Ten/ACC Regatta in Columbus Saturday to be Live Streamed

COLUMBUS, Ohio-Both sessions of the Ohio State home regatta Saturday will be streamed live on B1G+, the first Ohio State home regatta live streamed from Griggs Reservoir, the home course of the Ohio State women’s rowing team in Columbus. The No. 9 Buckeyes host No. 11 Virginia, No. 12 Duke and No. 4 Michigan at the event.
Races times are scheduled for 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. but are subject to change because of weather. Check OhioStateBuckeyes.com and the Ohio State Women’s Rowing team Twitter account (@OhioStateWROW) for updates.
There will be four cameras utilized on chase boats and at the finish line to create the live video stream. The cameras will transmit video via cell service to a main server located in the video control room at the Covelli Center on the Ohio State campus.
Once received, Helen Sudhoff, who twice lettered with the Buckeyes (2017-18), will call the action from the Covelli Center from a multi-screen display. Audio commentary will be embedded into the video stream and broadcast HERE on B1G+.
