
Buckeyes 13th at UCF Challenge

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State finished 13th of 18 teams at the UCF Challenge in Orlando, Florida, at the Eagle Creek Golf Club. The teams played the final few holes of the event Tuesday.
Teams were able to get between 10-14 holes of the third round completed Monday before play was halted because of darkness. The second round was played Monday morning and play continued in the afternoon in an attempt to avoid inclement weather in Orlando Tuesday.
Ohio State was -2 as a team in the third round when play was called and finished at +3 (291-287-298=867) for the event.
Lauren Peter led the Buckeyes at -2 (72-71-71=214) for the event after a pair of 1-under rounds of 71 over the final 36 holes. Individually she finished tied for the No. 30 spot.
Aneka Seumanutafa finished tied for the No. 37 after shooting a 1-under total of 215 (72-71-72).
The Buckeyes will travel next to take part at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Arizona, Feb. 27-28.
