COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten, along with the Big Ten Network, has released the television schedule for this fall’s women’s soccer campaign and Ohio State will appear five times on national networks. The five appearances are the most of any school in the conference.
The first matchup will be one of the marquee matchups of the season as the Buckeyes will host North Carolina on Aug. 29. BTN will have the coverage and first touch will be at 1:30 p.m.
Two weeks later on Sept. 12, the Buckeyes will host TCU and that match will also be televised on BTN. This will be just the second meeting between the two sides as the Horned Frogs won the previous meeting 3-2 in Fort Worth in 2019.
The Buckeyes will host Rutgers on Oct. 3 on BTN which should be a matchup of two of the top teams in the conference. Michigan comes to town on Oct. 17 and that matchup will also be televised on BTN beginning at 2 p.m.
The final televised match will be on Wednesday, Oct. 20, as the Buckeyes will play at Wisconsin at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU. That match is one of just two Big Ten women’s soccer matches on ESPNU this season. Ohio State is unbeaten in its last five matches vs. Wisconsin dating back to 2015. That includes a 3-1 victory over the Badgers earlier this spring.
One quarterfinal match as well as both semifinals and championship match of the Big Ten Tournament will also be televised on BTN. The semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 4 with the championship match slated for 2 p.m. on Nov. 7.
