Fencers Earn Ohio State Scholar-Athlete Honors

Thirty-eight members of the Ohio State fencing program have been named Ohio State Scholar-Athletes for 2020-21.
Ethan Edwards, Will Gaziano, Matthew Hayes and Aleksandra Kolmykova all earned the honor for the fourth time. Kolymkova, along with Clark Kokenge and Zoe Shay-Tannas, were recognized for carrying 4.0 cumulative grade-point averages.
The Buckeye men won the Central Collegiate Fencing Conference men’s squad championship and the women were the co-champions of the CCFC for women’s squads.
