
Another Sweep! Buckeyes Beat Penn State 7-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the second time this season, Ohio State swept Penn State, winning 7-0 in State College on Saturday afternoon.
The Buckeyes have now won five matches in a row and improve to 14-2 on the season.
The doubles point was a race for the three Buckeye teams to see which one would claim the wins. Cannon Kingsley and JJ Tracy won the race with a 6-1 win on court three while John McNally and Robert Cash were close behind at 6-0 on court two. James Trotter and Justin Boulias were leading 5-1 on court one when the other two matches finished.
In singles, the Buckeyes found similar success. Tracy won his 18th consecutive match with a 6-0, 6-2 win on court five. Kingsley then won his 21st match of the season with a 6-2, 6-3 win on court one. The clinching point came from Trotter on court three with a 6-3, 6-4 win.
Cash made the score 5-0 with his won on court six and then McNally and Kyle Seelig each added three-set victories to provide the final 7-0 margin.
This was the 10th sweep of the season for the Buckeyes and they have now won 24 consecutive matches vs. Penn State.
Ohio State will remain on the road next weekend for matches at Purdue and Indiana on Friday and Sunday.
