
Buckeyes Extend Streak with 7-0 Win over Indiana

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 7 Ohio State claimed it seventh sweep of the season, blanking Indiana 7-0 on Sunday afternoon at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center. The Buckeyes are now 8-1 overall on the season.
Ohio State has won 66 consecutive matches against Big Ten opponents dating back to 2015.
The Buckeyes claimed the doubles point with wins on courts one and three. John McNally and Robert Cash raced to a 6-1 win on court one, posting their fifth win of the season. Cannon Kinglsey and JJ Tracy won 6-4 on court three while James Trotter and Justin Boulais were up 5-3 and 30-15 on court two.
Ohio State then won all six first sets in singles, losing no more than three games on any court. Cash was first done with a 6-0, 6-1 win on court six followed by Kinglsey who won 6-2, 6-2 on court two. McNally won by the same score on court one to again provide the team clinching point.
Tracy continued his good start with a 6-3, 6-4 win on court five and Kye Seelig won 6-2, 6-3 on court three to push the lead to 6-0. Boulais dropped his second set and ended up getting the win when Michael Andre injured his ankle in the super-breaker.
The Buckeyes continue their Big Ten run next weekend with matches at Michigan State on Friday and at Michigan on Sunday.
