Flotre Named Co-Freshman of the Week by Big Ten

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Kine Flotre, a freshman midfielder from Fjellhamar, Norway, scored for the Buckeyes in the 10th minute Sunday providing the only offense needed in Ohio State’s Senior Day shutout win over Northwestern.
The effort earned Flotre the Big Ten Conference Co-Freshman of the Week Award, the league office announced Tuesday.
On the year, Flotre has scored three goals, tied for third-most on the Ohio State roster.
The No. 23 Buckeyes (5-1-3) are back in action at 1 p.m. Saturday at Michigan State in the final regular-season contest of the season.
