SUNSET, S.C. – Saturday’s hit and miss weather left Ohio State with three holes to play on Sunday to finish the final round of the Clemson Invitational. The Buckeyes were tied for 12th and the best it could hope for heading to Sunday was to jump a couple of teams and finish 10th. That’s exactly what they did, finishing the last three holes in three-under par.
That let the Buckeyes jumped Old Dominion and Louisville to finish in 10th place in the 19-team field.
Aneka Seumanutafa birdied two of her three holes to post a final round 74 and finish in 24th place. Kristin Jamieson had the lowest final round for the Buckeyes with an even-par 72. Lauren Peter and Skylar Thompson each carded final rounds 73s. For Thompson, that tied her low round of the season. Kailie Vongsaga rounded out the scoring with a 76.
The Buckeyes will conclude the season in three weeks at the Indiana Invitational on April 17-18.
