SUNSET, S.C. – Inclement weather made for tough conditions Saturday at the Clemson Invitational. The teams played 27 holes on Friday and tried to play 27 more on Saturday ahead of predicted weather for Sunday. They nearly accomplished that as Ohio State is left with three holes to play in the event.
The Buckeyes are in a tie for 12th at 33-over par. They are two shots out of 10th place.
Aneka Seumanutafa is in a tie for 38th at 6-over par. She is 4-over in her final round with three holes to go. Kristin Jamieson has the best final round going for the Buckeyes as she is even par with two birdies and two bogeys.
Lauren Peter is just 1-over in the final round and 10-over for the event. Kailie Vongsaga is also 10-over for the tournament as she is 4-over in her final round.
Skylar Thompson has her best round going as she is just 2-over with three holes to play in the event.
The teams will try to resume play at 8:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
