
Buckeyes Roll Huskers 7-0

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State raced to a 7-0 win over Nebraska on Friday night inside the Ty Tucker Tennis Center.
The win improves the Buckeyes to 12-2 on the season and keeps their slate perfect against Nebraska, winning all 13 meetings with the Cornhuskers.
The doubles point took just 25 minutes as John McNally and Robert Cash won 6-0 on court two and James Trotter and Justin Boulais took down the No. 66 ranked team of Brandon Perez and Albert Sprlak-Puk 6-2 on court one.
The Buckeyes then took all six singles matches, losing just one set along the way. Kyle Seelig was first done with a 6-0, 6-1 win over Perez. McNally won 6-0, 6-4 on court one against Victor Moreno Lozano and then Boulais provided the clinching point with a 6-4, 6-1 win over William Gleason on court four.
Cannon Kingsley continued his perfect run with a 6-2, 7-5 win over Shunya Maruyama and Tim Seibert got his second win of the season with a 7-5, 6-1 on court six. JJ Tracy won the first and then dropped the second set to Sprlak-Puk on court five but rebounded with a 10-4 in the super-breaker to seal the 7-0 win.
The sweep was the ninth sweep this season for the Buckeyes. They will look for a 10th this Sunday when they host Iowa. First serve is set for Noon and the teams are hoping to play outdoors at the Auer Tennis Complex.
