
Buckeyes in 14th After Day of Clemson Invitational

SUNSET, S.C. – Ohio State opened the Clemson Invitational with a round of 11-over 299 and have completed half of round two to currently sit in 14th place in the 19-team field.
With impending wet weather on Sunday, the teams played 27 holes on Friday and will try to play the final 27 holes on Saturday to complete the event.
Aneka Seumanutafa, playing in her last event before next weekend’s Augusta Women’s Amateur, leads the Buckeyes at 2-over par. She shot a 1-under 71 in the opening round and is 3-over through nine holes of her second round. She sits in a tie for 18th.

Lauren Peter had the highlight of the day, notching a hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth in the opening round. She posted a 76 in round one and is currently 10-over par through 27 holes.
Kailie Vongsaga opened with a 3-over 75 and is also 3-over through nine holes in round two. She is in a tie for 50th at 6-over par. Kristin Jamieson is tied for 61st at 8-over par and Skylar Thompson is 13-over through 27 holes.
The teams will resume the second round at 9 a.m. Saturday morning and will play through day in an effort to complete the final round as well. Follow along all day Saturday on Golfstat.
