
Buckeyes Win Again, Beat Wisconsin 6-1

MADISON, Wisc. – Ohio State completed a 2-0 weekend road trip with a 6-1 win over Wisconsin on Sunday afternoon in Madison.
The Buckeyes are now 11-2 on the season and are second in the Big Ten at 8-1.
After losing the doubles point on Friday night, Ohio State rebounded with wins on courts one and two to secure the point on Sunday. The Buckeyes shook up the lineup a bit as John McNally and Cannon Kingsley teamed for the first time on court one for a 7-5 win. Robert Cash and JJ Mercer won as well on court two 6-4.
In singles, JJ Tracy provided the second point with a 6-1, 6-1 win over Jesper Freimuth. Kyle Seelig won by the same score on court four, besting Robin Parts 6-1, 6-1. Kingsley clinched the team win with his 18th victory of the season, beating Gabriel Huber 6-2, 6-2 on court one.
Playing out the rest of the singles matches, McNally beat Lenard Soha on court two 6-0, 7-6 (8-6). Wisconsin got its lone point with a three-set win on court six and then James Trotter capped the day with a three-set win of his own over Jared Pratt on court three.
The Buckeyes will return home next weekend to host Nebraska on Friday night and Iowa on Sunday afternoon.
