- Seniors Izzy Rodriquez and Marissa Birzon were named 2021 captains March 9. The pair have played a combined 117 games for the Buckeyes over the last four years.
- Sophomore Emma Sears was named the Co-Offensive Player of the Week by the Big Ten March 2 after she netted three goals in the home win over Wisconsin (Feb. 25). Sears scored the first four goals for the Buckeyes this season.
- Freshmen Peyton McNamara and Kine Flotre provided the scoring in a 3-1 win at Maryland last March 4. McNamara scored the first two goals of the game and for her career for the Buckeyes before Flotre put the game away with her first goal as a Buckeye in the second half.
- Florte scored Ohio State’s goal in a 2-1 loss at Rutgers March 7.
- Three Buckeyes were voted as players to watch in 2021 by Big Ten Conference coaches. Izzy Rodriquez, Kayla Fischer and Peyton McNamara were recognized prior to the season.
