
Buckeyes Finish 5th at FSU Match Up

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Ohio State jumped one spot with a final round 302 to finish fifth at the FSU Match Up this weekend at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee.
Individually, sophomore Aneka Seumanutafa had another great tournament, finishing tied for fourth at 3-over par. She carded rounds of 75-70-74 to notch her third Top 5 finish in as many events this season.
As a team, the Buckeyes were consistent with rounds of 300-303-302 and led the field with three eagles.
Lauren Peter carded rounds of 73-75-75 to finish tied for 12th at 6-over par. This was his first Top 20 finish of the season.
Freshman Kristin Jamieson made 15 pars in the round on Sunday to post her lowest round of the weekend at 1-over 73. That followed a pair of 80s and she finished tied for 44th.
Skylar Thompson and Kailie Vongsaga each posted rounds of 80 on Sunday.
The Buckeyes wrap up five consecutive events in the Sunshine State over the last month. They will now be off a couple of weeks before returning to action at the Briar’s Creek Invitational at the Briar’s Creek Golf Club in John’s Island, S.C.
