
Buckeyes Dominant in 7-0 Win over Penn State

COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 7 Ohio State continued it's run against Penn State with a dominating 7-0 win on Saturday afternoon. The Buckeyes have now won 23 consecutive matches against the Nittany Lions dating back to 1999.
Cannon Kingsley and JJ Tracy paired together for just the second time in doubles and they rolled to a 6-2 win on court three over Alp Sentay and Bora Sengul. The No. 4 team of John McNally and Robert Cash followed with a 6-4 win on court one to secure the point. James Trotter and Justin Boulais were on their way to a win as well, leading 5-3 on court two.
In singles, the Buckeyes won all six first sets and would only drop one set on the. Senior Kyle Seelig won quickly 6-2, 6-0 on court four and McNally was right behind him at 6-2, 6-2 on court two. Trotter had the clinching point with his 6-3, 6-3 win on court three.
The teams played the rest of the matches out and Tracy collected his ninth win on the season with a 6-2, 6-3 win on court five. Kingsley remained perfect on the year with a 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (6) win on court one over Christian Lakoseljac. The final point came from Cash on court six as he beat Tim Ruetzel 6-3, 6-3.
The Buckeyes remain at home next weekend, hosting Purdue at 6 p.m. on Friday and Indiana at Noon on Sunday.
