Ohio State begins its 28th season in program history in 2021. Head coach Lori Walker-Hock begins her 24th season in Columbus and 26th as a head coach.
The Buckeyes are 11-11-7 against Wisconsin in the all-time series.
Three Buckeyes were voted as players to watch in 2021 by Big Ten Conference coaches. Izzy Rodriquez, Kayla Fischer and Peyton McNamara were recognized prior to the season.
Gavin MacLeod joined the program as an assistant coach in January, leaving the University of Cincinnati, where he served as the associated head coach the previous three seasons.
The Buckeyes play the first three games on the season in Columbus against Michigan (1-1, 2ot), Wisconsin and Nebraska. The home opener was played at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center Indoor Field. Games will return to Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium as soon as weather permits.
