The No. 10-ranked Ohio State women's tennis team swept Indiana, 7-0, in the Ty Tucker Tennis Center Sunday to improve to 5-2 on the year and 2-0 in Big Ten play. Ohio State won all three doubles matches and did not drop a set in singles for the conference victory over the Hoosiers (0-2, 0-2 B1G).
The Buckeyes are on the road next weekend, with matches at Maryland at 6 p.m. Friday and at Rutgers at noon Sunday.
Quoting head coach Melissa Schaub
"It was a good weekend and we were happy to be back at home. This is going to be a long and challenging season in so many ways. We know it is going to have to be a total team effort and I think we saw different people stepping up and getting some action. We will have a good couple of days of practice before hitting the road for Maryland and Rutgers."
