COLUMBUS, Ohio – Another day, another top-ten showdown hosted in the OSU Varsity Tennis Center.
In doubles, Cannon Kingsley and Kyle Seelig got the Buckeyes rolling with a 6-4 victory over Aggie tandem Pierce Rollins and Stefan Storch on court three. No. 1 ranked doubles team John McNally and Robert Cash rallied from a 1-3 deficit and triumphed to a 6-4 victory over Carlos Aguilar and Barnaby Smith.
In singles, redshirt senior Kyle Seelig extended the Buckeyes match lead to 2-0 with a dominant 6-2,6-2 win over Noah Schachter. Justin Boulais fell to the No. 3 ranked Valentin Vacherot 2-6, 3-6. No. 19 ranked John McNally boosted the Buckeye lead to 3-1 with an impressive 6-3, 6-4 over No. 14 ranked Hady Habib. James Trotter would seize his second consecutive match-clinching point with a 6-4, 6-4 win over Barnaby Smith.
This win vaults Ty Tucker and Buckeyes to 11-0 on the dual season as they head to Madison, Wisc. for the ITA Indoor Championships.
