With several expected large crowds and early weekday games still on the schedule, changes to Campus parking availability and classes in session, please find the following helpful tips to better enjoy your gameday experience:Â
- To avoid heavier traffic, plan to arrive at least 45-60 minutes prior to tip-off. Doors to the Schottenstein Center open 90 minutes prior to tip-off.
- Parking passes must be clearly displayed. Officers and Traffic Directors will need to see them to sort traffic accordingly.
- Public Parking immediately around the Arena is limited. Guests are encouraged to use Campus lots and garages south of Lane Ave. near St. John Arena and Ohio Stadium. Â Walking time from south lots is approximately 5-10 minutes.
- Traffic will be heavier on Lane Ave. and Ackerman Rd. during peak periods. Alternate routes from SR315 are available at Med Center Drive, North Broadway and Kinnear and westbound from I-71.
- Shuttle services will be available in the Buckeye Lots north of the Schottenstein Center at the corner of Fred Taylor Dr. and Ackerman.Â
- A limited number of pre-pay reserved spaces are available for sale in the Vivian and Sisson Lots. Click here to reserve your spot today!
Several variables affect traffic conditions, including venue attendance, weather conditions, university business/class traffic and other campus events, which may warrant a change in traffic patterns and closures from time-to-time. Please follow Officers directions. They are working to get fans to the most convenient available parking locations.
