Bucks Go Pro 2.0 Spotlight: Laura Banks

Laura Banks has the career goal of becoming a physician and this summer was able to start her pursuit interning at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. The Rocky River, OH native, is decorated in the pool; she achieved an NCAA “B” Cut, personal record in the 100 breast and finishing six at the CSCAA National Invitational Championship. Laura is also a scholar-athlete earning Academic All-Big Ten.
This summer, Laura interned at Nationwide Children’s Hospital through the Bucks Go Pro 2.0 program.
Laura had an incredibly unique and critical opportunity to research the field of pediatric otolaryngology. The opportunity to gain both shadowing and research experience in the field provides interns with the chance to apply scientific inquiry skills in a real-life scenario.
