In the NHL
Ryan Dzingel and the Columbus Blue Jackets are tied with Boston, 2-2, in their Eastern Conference second round series of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The teams will meet in Boston Saturday for game five and in Columbus Monday for game six.
The Blue Jackets swept Tampa Bay in their first round series.
In the AHL
Five Buckeyes are still playing in the American Hockey League Calder Cup playoffs.
Matthew Weis and the Chicago Wolves lead Matt Bartkowski and the Iowa Wild, 2-0, with game three set for Sunday in Iowa.
Zac Dalpe and the Cleveland Monsters trail the Toronto Marlies, 1-0, in their series, with game two Friday in Toronto.
Nick Schilkey and the Charlotte Checkers open their series vs. Hershey Friday, with David Gust and the Bakersfield Condors starting their series with the San Diego Gulls that same night.
In the first round best-of-five series, the Checkers, Monsters and Condors all won 3-1, while the Wild and Wolves both prevailed in game five.
In the ECHL
In the North Division finals, Sam Jardine and the Newfoundland Growlers lead the Manchester Monarchs, 3-1, in the best-of-three series. Game five is set for Friday.
Chris Crane and the Toledo Walleye hold a 2-1 lead in their Central Division finals series vs. Cincinnati, with game four Friday.
Jardine and Newfoundland won their first series, 4-2, over Brampton and Crane and the Walleye prevailed over Fort Wayne, 4-2.
