COLUMBUS, Ohio – Devon Kerr, a senior on the Ohio State women’s soccer team, was named a third team All-American by TopDrawerSoccer.com Tuesday. The Barrie, Ontario, native adds the honor to 2018 Big Ten Goalkeeper of the Year and first team All-Big Ten laurels.
Kerr tied for third in the Big Ten with eight shutouts while ranking fourth with an .826 save percentage and a 0.78 goals-against average this season. The senior concluded her Buckeye career third in Ohio State history with 19 shutouts and a 0.82 goals-against average. Kerr, who also earned United Soccer Coaches second team All-North Region and first team Scholar All-North-Central Region honors, was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten pick and OSU Scholar-Athlete.
The 2018 Buckeyes went 9-6-4, including 6-2-3 in Big Ten play, on their way to the program’s ninth NCAA Tournament appearance in the last 10 seasons.
